Living Well Despite Your Illness

Fortunately, the path not to only recovery but to a more balanced life than you had before your diagnosis is often the unexpected consequence of having to deal with disease. In fact, you may have already noticed some of this as you have had to step back from the busy-ness of work and normal activities to focus on you and your disease.

In doing so, in finding ways to soothe your physical discomfort and pain and in calming fears of what your illness means for the future, you may have decided to use this crisis as a catalyst for growth. Throughout LearningPlaceOnline (LPO) we offer many ways for you to expand on that intention to live as well as you possibly can.

For example, if you would like to use imagery techniques for pain control and to reduce stress, you may want to check out our classes on imagery. And if, in being reminded of the uncertainty of life, you have decided to live more fully with joy and passion, the section on Living Fully will give you many ways to do just that.

We encourage you to look through our Site Maps to find anything that might help you be the person you want to be, even though you have been given the task of dealing with illness.
